Our History
U-Save has a rich history dating back to 1983, when our founder, Mr Asmond Teo, started his career as a tinsmith. Working out of a small shophouse along Joo Chiat Road, he quickly gained a reputation for his high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail among neighbours and well-known bakeries. At his time at the shop, he was featured in a book ‘Can Survive, La’ by Magaret Sullivan which highlights the impact that his trade has had on the industry.
In 1991, he founded U-Save, which began as a small shop supplying baking equipments, refrigerators and customised stainless steel products for local businesses. However, with Mr Asmond’s vision and dedication, the company grew to become one of the pioneer supplier of commercial kitchen equipments in Singapore.
Over the years, the business grew, and the product line expanded to include western cooking ranges, combination ovens, dishwashers and patiessries display chillers.
Throughout this growth, Mr Asmond’s commitment to quality never wavered and his dedication to customer satisfaction became the hallmark of the company. Today, U-Save is a respected leader in the industry, known for its exceptional products, expert advice, and unparalleled customer service trusted by many leading brands in the world to represent them. We are honoured to be Authorised Dealers for products from Convotherm, Manitowoc, Euro-Chill, Toastmaster, Prismafood, Adler and many more brands. We are proud to carry on the legacy of our founder and strive to provide the same high level of quality and service that has been the foundation of our company for more than 30 years.
